A little revision about Dead Land

Hello, infected.

I am Tiago Toy and live in Brazil. I'm author of Dead Land saga (Terra Morta in Portuguese), that imagines a zombie apocalypse in a Sao Paulo' small town.

Dead Land began as a blog on August 15, 2008, when I still lived in Jaboticabal, at Sao Paulo countryside. It was an unpretentious hobby, which drew attention of people throughout Brazil, Portugal and USA. By Twitter @tiago_toy my current editor Erick Sama, from Editora Draco, has found the blog and invited me to launch Dead Land on book format. Obviously I accepted. Who wouldn't?

For over a year reviewing, aiming to transform the story into something worthy debut as a fiction writer, Dead Land hit the shelves and websites of the largest bookstores in the country. And the infected ones are always coming. Facebook, Orkut, Twitter, Blogspot ... They are coming from everywhere!

I wanna go to far with this story infecting people at first sight. Reviews are super positive, thank God and the efforts of those involved. And thinking about it I decided to create the English version of the original Dead Land blog - http://terra-morta.blogspot.com/ - especially for my friends Marco Aguilar and Cheyenne Lowman, and the world.

The first book of the series, Dead Land: Escape, had his first afternoon autograph session last Sunday, 04/12, and was very nice. The second one, Dead Land: Infection, is already in production and will be released next year. Then will be released a comic book and a book of short stories, written by readers and some guest writers, all based in the Dead Land universe.

While the infection does not spread around the world, I will do my part and infect them through the Worldwide Web, which began the same way in Brazil. I'm sure that once you start reading the Prologue, will have no return.

So do not try to fight against. Will be in vain. The infection has no cure.
